Frankenbach was cold in the morning and 2 corners were still frozen .
It was the 2nd time on my 250 and it was taking me a bit longer than I wanted to, to get used to it .
The conditions were the problem though .Muddy and frozen hmmm does not mix with South African blood :O)))
In time training I was 3rd in My group which was ok .The track was getting dyer .
The first race I got out of the gate like a rocket . The bike really is good for starting .
To think I got out of the first corner 3rd against allot of 450/525 ccm bikes I was impressed.
1. The bikes a good starter.(ok the riders not bad either.)
I was in second just riding ... I wasn’t racing I was just riding getting used to racing slowly .
After about 5 laps I made a stupid Mistake ( I was being to careful) and fell over. Well then my race almost came to an end... I couldn’t
start my Bike. I kicked and Kicked and Kicked .
After 1 and half laps I gave up kicking... I must admit my leg wasn’t working anymore .Then my Mechanic comes and kick’s it 3 x and wwrrooomm...
So I came running back and carried on racing. I caught up to 18th place. Only 16 made it into the Main A final.
So that was frustrating.. But good to see that my condition is up and I was doing good lap times .
The second race. B Final.
Got out the gate again really well .
But tangled with some riders in the first corner and went down. I found out really quick how hot a husky exhaust gets aawwa.
Any way I had problems again starting my bike. But once I started going I caught up to second.
But I killed the motor in a corner and Kicked my self to death again ...
got it going and caught up till 3rd ,oh well !!!
I was there to get used to my bike and race.
I am looking forward to my school On Thursday . I will be doing allot of riding on my 250 .That will help allot
