I have just gotten back from Spain where I spent the last 2 weeks riding.
If I told you how much fun I had on my new CRF 450 you would all be jealous...
It was awsome.Oli and I drove down on Friday 6-02-04.It took us 12 hours going down. We were based in picturess "GASTHAUS" called Can Gadatx.
It was situated 7 km away from thr track in ST Colomar up in the hills .
The family there could only speak Spanish/French.
But we got by.It was perfect weather and the tracks we rode on were good to test.
My Team mate Kenn De Dyker was there also .
The second day I was having some problems with my tendons in my left hand (from pulling the clutch)
I had to take some voltaren to help it along a bit.I spent the first 5 days just getting used to the 4 stroke .
It was almost as if I had ridden 1 my whole life long :o)
Ok not quite. It took some time .The main thing was we had alot to test and I had to be sure of the info that I was giving was cortrect.
So I just spent time riding alot of laps.
Avo was with me for a few days ,then he went to Montova . I had hurt my shoulder so I wasnt race ready .
The next week Ulli Strecker joineed us for a few days also . I was now able to test .We tried some different suspension and exhaust pipes .My good friend Paul Cooper was down for the week also and we went riding together nearly every day .
I bumped into Didi Lacher down there to. He was giving some mx schools .You can find him just by looking for his riding style.
We had 2 days off while we were down there. 1 one was after 5 straight days of riding. The second one was because of the weather. It rained for a day.
The tracks though for the next few days were awsome.
What suprised me the most was how good my suspension was from the word GO.
Hubert Hoffmann should play the next main role in Star wars. The force is with him.....
Avo and Kenn De Dyker all tested my bike and said the suspension was good.
I thought my bike with a std motor a different pipe and my suspension was race ready.
Avo had a modified Motor from Sarholz and that was fun to ride. The motor was stronger but much more smoother...
Thats a rocket in disguise.
I am going to Grevenbroich on Wednessday to test a newer motor for the 450 and ...... Grrrrr my hrc 250 crf
Now thats going to be fun. So Köln look out im going to make some noise....
